Dear Friend,

Urge Illinois Senate President Emil Jones to call the Non
Discrimination Bill for a Vote.

The Illinois General Assembly reconvenes for its last two days
of this session January 10-11. The Non Discrimination Bill (SB
3186) is poised for a final vote in the Illinois House and
Senate.

Downstate Democrats and antigay organizations throughout our
state are pressuring Senate President Emil Jones to not call the
bill in January for a vote.

Senator Jones needs to hear from you, your friends and your
family now. Urge Senator Jones to call the bill and to help in
firming up the necessary votes among Democrats in the Illinois
Senate.

We have never been closer to passing this legislation. Now is
the time for the Illinois Senate to do the right thing and
protect all Illinoisans.

Tell Senator Jones that justice and fairness demand a vote and
that he should not be swayed by right-wing antigay organizations
in our state.
