[Peace] Taser show on WILL's Black Perspectives

The IMC wesbite broke the story on the Taser proposal being withdrawn from
consideration.  The story appeared their first.  Thank goodness for the IMC!


Now, "Black Perpsectives" on WILL-TV puts the issues, discussion and
community activism all in context. Be sure to tune in Sunday. March 28th at

The spread of electric-shock weapons poses quite a dilemma for communities
here and around the world―What should we do with technology purportedly
designed to do good, but easily misused for repression and even torture?

As this debate about new weapons designed to disable rather than kill heats
up, how should a community respond?  Do you just roll over and take their
word for it when decision makers tell you there's nothing to be concerned
about, or do you organize and mobilize and make democracy work?

This special edition of Black Perspectives on Challenging the Use of Tasers
is a homegrown story of grassroots, multi-racial, citizen action.  It's a
