FYI,
There will be a Forum on Friday October 15, 7pm, at the Urbana City
Council Chambers, 400 S. Vine, Urbana discussing the Referendum on
expanding the Urbana City Council by adding 2 At-Large seats.  Esther
Patt--opponent; Christopher Alix--proponent.  Champaign County Auditor
candidates will also be speaking:  Democrat incumbent Michael Frerichs
and Republican challenger Brad Jones.  
Organizers of the Forum:  C-U Branch of The American Association of
University Women, and The League of Women Voters.  Additional
co-sponsors:  ACLU; Chamber of Commerce; Farm Bureau; NAACP;
News-Gazette; YWCA
