[Peace] LAST MINUTE REMINDER: DN! on UPTV

Here's one last quick reminder about the noon meeting TODAY of the UPTV
Commission where the mayor and the Urbana City Administration will be tested
on whether they are going to relent regarding the *considerable* public
demand both in writing (1200 petitioners) and in person (many dozens who
showed up at last Monday's meeting) for Democracy Now! on UPTV. It may be
just as important or even *more* important for witnesses to be in attendance
at today's meeting. The meeting is going to be somewhat unpredictable, but
if the administration continues to stall and obstruct and, indeed, censor
DN! from UPTV, there will be fireworks =;-) and it's important that the
public be present to drive the point home to the administration and
encourage the UPTV Commission to take further action in support of DN! on
UPTV.

Please consider stopping by noon today at the Urbana City Council Chambers
(largest room on the ground floor of the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine
St., across from Lincoln Square Mall, where you can park).
