[please forward to other listerves, thank you]

Dear All,

Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), India was hit two weeks ago with 1 meter
of rain in an hour and the worst total rainfall in the history of the city.
More than 1,000 people have died as a result of flooding and many have lost
all of their possessions.

Vincent Rodrigues, the friendly owner of Basmati Indian Cuisine, whose
family lives in Mumbai, has arranged for donations to be sent to Mumbai to
help those in need.

This Sunday, August 7, Basmati will donate 50% of its dinner buffet sales to
aid families in Bombay hit by the flood. The buffet is bountiful and
delicious and worth the price.

If you can't make it to Basmati this Sunday but want to help, you may send
checks to:

St. Patrick's Mumbai Flood Aid
C/O Basmati Indian Cusine
302 S, First St.
Champaign, IL 61820

Thanks much!

Kimberlie
