[Peace] Anti-War Demos Thursday and Saturday

Come to 2 anti-war demonstrations this week:

1.
Thursday August 18
12 noon
Terminal Building
Downtown Champaign

Senator Barack Obama will be speaking inside at 12:45.
Anti-war activists will be outside handing out
informational leaflets and holding signs.
We want to encourage Senator Obama to call for
immediate withdrawal of all troops from Iraq and
Afghanistan and closure of military bases there, as
well as an end to torture and occupation generally.

Saturday August 20
6-8 pm
One Main Plaza
Corner of Main and Neil Sts.
Downtown Champaign

This is AWARE's regular twice-monthly protest against
war, occupation and torture -- formerly on North
Prospect.  We meet at Main and Neil on the first
Saturday of every month from 2-4 pm and on the third
Saturday from 6-8pm.

All are welcome.  Please feel free to bring your own
