[Peace] AWARE Working Groups Meet Wednesday 12/14 at 5:00 PM

AWARE Presents/Iraq Pack/Urbana City Council Resolution: 

There will be a meeting this Wednesday 12/14 at
5:00 at the Kruse's house to discuss issues pertaining
to all three working groups. 

The Urbana resolution has been discussed with Smythe and Chynoweth, and will be discussed with
Roberts (meeting with Roberts at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday 12/14 at Strawberry Fields Cafe)
and Bowersox (meeting with Bowersox  9:00 a.m. Thursday 12/15 at Courier Café). 

A town hall meeting to publicize and discuss the resolution is being planned.
Both Bushra al-Heeti and her daughter Roaa have agreed
to address the issue at such an event. 
Iraq Pack is looking into ways to send packages of school supplies for children in Iraq.  
This may be a part of the town hall presentation seeking community involvement.

Working Groups will meet at 5:00 PM Wednesday December 14 to plan and organize a coordinated event combining efforts and ideas involving all 3 working groups. Meet at Kruse home 2007 S. George Huff Drive Urbana.
Please come if you would like to help organize and plan with any or all groups. Your ideas and suggestions are welcome!
