Bring a copy of your favorite Cornel West books or C.D. He has authored over 20 books including the national best seller, Race Matters and his recently acclaimed, Democracy Matters.
His two music c.d.s, Sketches of My Culture and his most recent release Street Knowledge, highlights the profound depth of his genius.
On April 7, 2005, at 6:30pm Dr. Cornel West, nationally acclaimed author and social commentator, will offer a presentation Community Justice and Christian Responsibility. This discussion will be of interest to the educator and the clergy, as well as permeate the hearts and minds of the business and civic communities as Dr West takes us through his vision of leadership in the 21st century.
West joined the faculty at Princeton in 2002 after teaching Afro-American studies and philosophy of religion for eight years at Harvard University. He earned his bachelor's degree from Harvard and his master's and Ph.D. degrees from Princeton. He has also taught at Yale and Union Theological Seminary. He is an accomplished artist, lecturer, and even actor, as displayed in his roles in The Matrix Sequels.
