[Peace] (no subject)

There's a sonnet about our son's birth during the first Gulf War.  There's a series of poems, including "McMocracy" about all those McDonald's fast food restaurants.  He's written about fireflies in the backyard at night, about torture during the Dirty War in Argentina, and about protesting for peace out on Prospect Avenue.  Matt Murrey - school librarian and father of two sons - has been writing poems in the early hours of the weekday mornings for nearly 20 years.  
 
On Monday, June 6th, he'll be reading from his work at the Urbana Free Library in the auditorium.  Hope you can be there...
