Folks,

We will be showing the new movie "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price"
this coming Sunday at 3 PM in Rm. 126 of the Library and Information
Science Building on the University of Illinois campus. The building is
located at 501 East Daniel Street (Corner of 5th and Daniel). Enter
through the East doors.

This controversial movie was produced and directed by Robert Greenwald,
an independent film-maker who was shocked when he found out that his
neighbor, who worked at Wal-Mart, had gotten instructions from his
supervisors there on how to fill out the forms to obtain
government-funded health care. His investigations led him to many parts
of the world uncovering sweat-shops, former Wal-mart personnel who tell
unflattering stories about their former employer, and small towns and
and small-town stores he says were hurt by Wal-Mart.
