Fundraising Dinner for Elaine Brown's Mayoral campaign

When: 5PM on Tuesday, October 11

Where: the back room of Mandarin Wok (near the corner of Green and 4th)

Cost: $10 for students, $15 for non-students. Includes a delicious
vegetarian meal. Further donations to Elaine's campaign are welcome and
needed!

Mayoral candidate Elaine Brown, member of the Green Party, is coming to
Urbana, Illinois to speak at Allen Hall from Oct. 10-12. Elaine Brown, the
first and only woman to lead the Black Panther Party, is running for Mayor
of Brunswick, Georgia. Her only opponent in this race is a white male
Republican. If elected, Elaine Brown will be the first female and first
black mayor of the city. 

Help the UIUC Campus Greens raise money for this important race! All profits
will go directly to her campaign. Elaine Brown will be attending the
fundraising dinner at Mandarin Wok on Green Street at 5PM on October 11.
Anyone is welcome to attend. However, please try to RSVP with Susan Rodgers
at srrodger at uiuc.edu so we know how many people are coming or if you have
any questions.
