[Peace] Citizen Police Review Board Meeting, Tues. 8PM

The Coalition for Citizen Police Review will be holding its regular meeting
at 8PM on Tuesday, September 6 at the Illinois Disciple's Foundation in the
PRC meeting room.  The IDF is located at Springfield and Wright.  (Note that
the meeting time and day of the week will be changed in October).  Anyone is
welcome to attend. 

We will be discussing several new developments with the Citizen Police
Review Board campaign in Urbana and beginning the campaign for a CPRB in
Champaign.

In addition, on Tuesday night, the Urbana City Council will be meeting at
7PM in the Urbana City Council Chambers and voting on the CPRB task force
that the mayor is appointing to look at creating a CPRB ordinance.  (It's

I believe that several of us will be stopping by this meeting prior to our
organizational meeting at 8PM.
