[Peace] Patch Adams at Unit One/Allen Hall 9/25-9/29

Patch Adams will be in-residence at Unit One/Allen Hall 9/25-9/29. He will speaking each night of his residency. Patch Adams is a medical doctor who believes that healing should be a "loving human interchange, not a business." After conducting a small free hospital out of his home for several years, Patch has devoted the last 34 years of his life to building a large-scale free hospital in rural West Virginia. He lectures internationally on topics of humor and health, community, intimacy, and various aspects of the health care system. Patch is also trained as a clown and organizes yearly "clowning trips" to Russian orphanages and hospitals. A movie about Patch’s life stars Robin Williams.
