Dear Friends of Social Justice and Allies of Immigrant Rights:

The racist Minuteman Project (MM), a right-wing vigilante anti-immigrant
organization, is conducting a nationwide tour they are calling the Paul
Revere Brigade (see here: http://www.21stcenturypaulrevereride.us/index.html).
The Paul Revere Brigade will be in Chicago this coming Saturday, July 8, at
12noon to protest what they claim is "Mexico's policy of sending their
problems (people) to the United States" at the Mexican Consulate at 204 S.
Ashland.

In response, a coalition of pro-immigrant rights activists are calling for a
counter-protest to "welcome"; the Paul Revere Brigade to the Mid-West and to
stand up for immigrants' rights.  With the recent attempts by the right-wing
to scapegoat immigrants in Congress, the need to fight efforts to malign and
denigrate immigrant workers couldn't be more important.  By outnumbering and
overpowering the Paul Revere Brigade with hundreds of pro-immigrant rights
activists, we will stop and silence their racist filth and send a message
that the mainstream media and the general public cannot ignore--NO HUMAN IS
ILLEGAL!

Your help and support is needed!  The Minuteman Project is organizing in
Illinois (see here: http://www.illinoisminutemanproject.com).  We can only
expect more of their racist filth in the near future if we do not stop them
NOW!
