17th to reconsider the proposed school site (Bradley and 
Staley).
 
Where: The Mellon Building 
      703 S New Street (corner of New and John) 
When: tomorrow night. 6:30pm

Friends,

A special Champaign Schools Board meeting has been called to
reconsider the misguided decision they made Monday to locate 
the new north side school in "west hell" (Bradley and Staley 
Roads).  We need to turnout in numbers tomorrow evening at 
6:30 PM to be heard on the matter.  Yes, I know it's Friday 
evening, but if we're not willing to stand up and be counted 
when it counts, who will?  It doesn't matter is you have 
kids in the schools or even if you live in Champaign, this
is about Black folks and our allies being heard.  It's about 
dignity and respect at this point.
