The film "Road to Guantanamo" is being shown on Monday, April 23, 7:00
at the First Mennonite Church. Discussion will follow.

Church, McKinley Presbyterian Church and Foundation, Amnesty
International, and Council On American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

The Road to Guantanámo is a first-hand account of three men who were
held at Guantánamo Bay detainment camp for two years. Part drama,
part documentary, their story is told through a mixture of interviews
with the men, news archives, and re-creation of their ordeal.

The winner of the Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Four UK citizens set out to attend a wedding and holiday in Pakistan.
They decided to join a humanitarian aid trip to Afghanistan. They
crossed the Afghanistan border just as the U.S. began its bombing
campaign. One friend was lost. The other three were captured by the
Northern Alliance and imprisoned in Camp X-RAy and later at Camp
Delta. After two years at Guantánamo, the three were released and
returned to Britain.
