[Peace] Peru Labor report, Tue Dec 11, IDF, 6pm

On December 11, Helena Worthen and Joe Berry (of the UI Labor
Education Program) will give a report on their labor delegation to
Peru.

Worthen and Berry visited Peru Nov. 12-17 at the invitation of a
representative of the Ministry of Labor and met with various labor
leaders from different parts of the labor movement. During this week
the Peru Trade Act was passed in the US House, the miners were on
strike and there was a strike among professors at all the public
universities, as well as a hunger strike. Helena and Joe will report
back what they saw and heard.
