Rev. Mulberry recently traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico as an international  
observer with Witness for Peace and to personally learn about the  
roots of the current conflict.  While in Oaxaca he met with community  
leaders, business leaders, human rights leaders, torture survivors,  
and the United States’ consulate. As part of the delegation he  
participated in discussions about the role of United States’ foreign  
trade and economic policy in the current conflict, reasons for the  
murder of U.S. journalist Brad Will, and the growth of “assemblies”  
as a form of government.  Though the United States is promoting a  
particular understanding of the Oaxacan conflict, come hear Rev.  
Mulberry offer an alternative point of view!
