[Peace] SPAM on CIMIC Friends List

Dear Subscribers to CIMIC Friends/Events Announcement List,

I hope everyone had relaxing holidays.

Recently, subscribers to this list have received spam. Unfortunately, the alias 
to this list must have been published on a website or some place from where 
spammers got hold of the email address. We apologize for this and have taken 
steps to minimize the chances of this happening again.

We have retired the old alias and have made a new one that we don't reveal 
anywhere on the web (and not even in the header or body of emails to this 
list).

This should cut down spam on this list to ZERO in the immediate future and 
hopefully for some time to come. In the meanwhile, we will look into more 
secure ways of doing this for the long-term future.
