Tell Burger King:
No More Sweatshops in the Fields!

Join the UC Student/Farmworker Alliance in this “Day
of Action” against
subpoverty wages and inhumane working conditions in
the Florida tomato fields!

Sat. May 12
12-1 pm

Burger King
2110 N Prospect
near Town Center Boulevard (Meijer, Applebee's)

Tomato pickers in the Burger King supply chain are
asking for a raise of ONE PENNY PER POUND of tomatoes
they pick in the blistering Florida sun.

Taco Bell and McDonald’s have already agreed to pay
the extra PENNY PER POUND and to work with the
Coalition of Immokalee Workers to stamp out human
slavery and improve working conditions in the fields.

Why won’t Burger King?

Please see www.ciw-online.org for more info on
farmworkers poverty and abuse, the Coalition of
Immokalee Workers and the campaign for human rights in
America’s agricultural fields.
