Hello, friends!

This week is the upcoming "Thinking Outside the Box: ReDesign the  
Health Care Sytem" intensive at the Urbana Arts and Media Center,  
Oct. 11-14th. Some 140 people will be coming to town to attend it.

While the intensive has a registration fee, the evening sessions are  
free and open to the public. Please come!

Saturday, Oct 13, 7:30---
Gala Evening
with Chrissy Nelson, nurse and author of Stephen's Hope, presenting a  
moving, funny account of her compassion and passion for service;  
Patch Adams, doctor, clown, activist, dreamer; Stephanie Davies,  
stand-up comic from Britain; dazzling multi-media; sultry and healing  
madrigals directed by Doctah Barton; followed by dancing to  
Sandunga! ... from the Cuban musical traditions of son, guajira son,  
and trova/ bolero--with roots in the fusion of African and Iberian  
rhythms and melodies ... Sergio Cristancho (bongos and percussion),  
William Hope (Cuban tres and laúd), Julian Norato (guitar), and  
Marisa Zapata (flute) with invited guests.

All evening events are free and open to the public. The Gala will  
also offer opportunities to contribute to positive change in health  
care delivery.
