Hi!

On Saturday, October 27, United For Peace & Justice and ANSWER, the
nation's largest anti-war coalitions, will be joining forces in a massive
nation-wide day of action to call for an end to the war in Iraq. Instead
of one centralized protest in D.C., there will be mass protests in 11
major cities across America, including Chicago. Members of AWARE, the
Anti-War Anti-Racism Effort, are organizing three to four vans to take
people from Urbana up to Chicago to join the march there.

The march begins with a rally at Union Park at 1.30 pm and ends at the
Federal Plaza after 4pm. The vans will leave around 10 am and return
around 6 or 7 pm. The cost should be no more than $5 per person. For those
who cannot dedicate the entire day to this, there will be an anti-war
rally and send-off of the vans on Prospect Ave from 10.30-12, sponsored by
AWARE and several other local groups.

If you are interested in joining us, email Shara Esbenshade at
esbenshd at uni.uiuc.edu within the next couple days and please pass this
email on to groups you are part of or friends that may be interested.

We are still looking for a driver or two, so let me know if you would be
interested in driving a van. Thank you!

Shara
