breaking news on dc indymedia:

Sept 15 5pm: @175 individually arrested while standing on wall
surrounding the Capitol steps, during a "die-in" protesting
continuation of Iraq War. Many members of Iraq Veterans Against the
War, family members, mothers of vets and active duty also
arrested. Capitol Police refuse to say what the charge is for the
arrests. No response from Public Information Office. As of 4pm, the
Capitol police tried to stop arresting anyone. Someone in charge
yelled that the protestors had made their point, and the police at the
wall started to push back anyone trying to get arrested, with the
exception of some persitent few arrestees.
