[Peace] Party for Primary Communications Project and Bill Taylor

Our local intrepid radio man, Bill Taylor has just returned from La
Esperanza Honduras where he with the support of many people constructed a
1KW community AM radio station for the indigenous Lenca people. It was an
audacious project but now that it’s up and running it will make huge
difference in the lives of these people.

 

We are welcoming Bill back and celebrating the successful completion of this
project with a PARTY AT MY HOUSE.

 

Please join us to listen to the music of Lencas, see photos of the project,
and hear stories of engineering daring do!

 

This was by far the most ambitious project undertaken by the organization
and any cash donations towards its cost would be greatly appreciated.

 

The party will be held on

            Thursday September 27 at 7:00 PM

            

            The old farm house at

            1208 S. Vine St. Urbana

 

            The house is on the corner of Vine and Michigan, just across the
street from Urbana Middle School.
