Richard,

I am afraid you are terribly misguided on this matter of what the criteria
should be for selecting the President of the United States.  Race, color or
creed should not play any part in the political process, for or against.  As
a Bible believing, born again, Christian, the primary filter we should use
in determining who would be the best man (or woman) for the job is:  Does
the candidate have a Biblical world view?  Without going into an exhaustive
list to make the case that Senator Obama has the antithesis of a Biblical
world view, I will list just a couple of the current day issues.

1)       It is well documented that Senator Obama does not believe in the
sanctity of life.  He has a strong pro abortion position and even favors the
heinous practice of partial birth abortion for living souls right up to
their due dates.

2)       Senator Obama is for destroying the very first institution God
established; the family.  God has established from the very beginning that
marriage is between one man and one woman.  Senator Obama does not believe
this and is willing tear apart the fabric of what all civilization is
founded upon; the family.  Without the family, as God designed it,
everything else will totally deteriorate as it did in the days before the
flood.

There are far better people of color that can be considered as good role
models, Secretary of State, Condolezza Rice or Allen West (running for U.S.
Congress in Florida) are just a couple of examples.  As a Christian it would
be completely irresponsible to vote for an immoral man like Senator Obama.

You need to know what you believe and why you believe it.  The Bible should
be the final authority for all faith and practice, including filtering
through presidential candidates (or any political office for that matter).
I am quite disappointed in your lack of spiritual discernment in the matter
and others that we have discussed and hope that you will pray about what you
think God's mind and will is.  Perhaps you will re-consider your position.

i would like to see barack be the 1st american "black" president because it
would be an inspiration to all the next generation of young blacks to know
they too can attain to high leadership positions also...not just in
entertainment & sports, but in education, government, diplomacy, etc. as
well. you yourself know you looked up to past presidents washington and
lincoln; besides all this jehovah himself chose people of color to manifest
himself and his name to the rest of the whole of humanity, which, by the way
mostly are people of color...is why barack is to be president....it will put
america in a whole better light with the rest of the world, because of our
past reputation of discrimination and prejudice & oppressing the blacks. 100
years ago they couldn't even vote and in the 50's gm wouldn't give blacks
management postitions....i know this because one of my 80 year old bible
college teachers was one of the 1st blacks to be put on supervision at
buick...the bible says "he that loveth not his brother is not of god for god
is love"...cain slew abel, etc. ; the black man is our brother..and we are
to love one another. 

so inspite of all that has been said and done....when the election is over
and all the votes have been counted, you will find that because hillary
pulled 18 million votes in the primary the dnc had her run with barack for
the sake of the unity of the party and the upliftment of our nation ....
along with the youth of america brought about their victory!

p.s.s. there is an attached photo of barack praying with some of us
supporters you will not see on fox tv. 

i have volunteered with the dnc internet director to help get their
candidates elected in nov. 

i was at kettering university 3 weeks ago when he visited flint....his
motorcade went right past my parents house on pershing st. ....he stopped at
our factories by uaw 659 to greet the workers!
