I want to second Pamela's appreciation to everyone who created the outstanding float.  My son and daughter-in-law said it was the most impressive of all. The veterans' participation definitely exemplified the message.  And Granda Wahlfeldt's spirit is ever with us so it was fitting his smiling face would bring up the rear.  It seemed all of Urbana stands with us. I am proud to be in association with AWARE and all of you!

Just wanted to thank everyone who organized and made the float for  
today's parade, and the veterans who showed up.  From my position I  
could see that  they were applauded all along the route and a number  
of people stood.  I found it very moving.
