There's an ongoing peace-discuss thread about the misbegotten new FISA bill,
which among other things grants immunity to the telecomm companies
who participated in illegal, possibly-widespread, wiretapping of
Americans without court review as provided by the FISA law.

Eric Lichtblau, the New York Times reporter who broke the story of
the Administration's warrantless wiretapping, will be interviewed today:

    WILL-AM's Focus 580 program (AM, 580 kHz)
11:06 AM Friday, June 27th (until about noon)

He's promoting a new book -- "Bush's Law: The Remaking of American Justice".
Among the topics mentioned in this morning's teaser: the pressure exerted
on the Times which led them to keep the wiretapping story unpublished for
a year after it was uncovered.

(followups set to the peace-discuss list)
