We still need readers for short excerpts of 2-4 minutes. We need you.

March 11, 2008 there will be a reading Howard Zinn’s book “The People  Speak: American Voices, Some Famous, Some Little Known”  to be video recorded for UPTV, Urbana’s public access television channel 6.

We are looking for volunteers to read short excerpts from the book on the evening of March 11th. We will have a quick practice read through followed by the actual videotaped performance.  Performers will share copies of the material. The readings are relatively short and can be read in 2-4 minutes.

Date: Tuesday, March 11, 2008 
Where: in the Urbana City Council Chambers
Time: 6:00-9:00 PM. People do not have to stay the entire time.

We would like at least 8-10 different people willing to do the readings in order to provide a variety of voices.
