[Peace] delay in approval of poverty resolution

DELAY IN APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION TO PLACE POVERTY REFERENDUM ON NOVEMBER 8 BALLOT

The Town Board will not be asked to approve placing the poverty tax increase on the November ballot until April 15 in a special meeting of the township.  The delay is due to a legal requirement that the tax increase be based on the current tax rate, and the county clerk's office will not have this information in time for the April 1 City Council meeting.

More information will be forthcoming about the April 15th meeting.
