Biofuels, the Carbon Cycle, and Midwest Agriculture
                   Professor Evan DeLucia

There are many questions regarding the impacts of biofuels on the
environment and
their place in our energy policy.  Professor Evan DeLucia, head of the
Department of Plant
Biology at the University of Illinois, will speak about some of the major
ecological issues
surrounding biofuels, including the application of life cycle analysis, and
discuss the
University's BP-funded research to study the ecological implications of
converting row
crop agriculture to perennial biofuel crops.
Learn more about this important and
complex issue, and the future of biofuels.
