*WE NEED PERFORMERS/MUSICIANS!*

Hello, my name is Rachel Storm, President of *Four Walls and a Roof*, an
organization on campus that has as its project this year, to build a women's
shelter for victims of domestic violence in Cotacachi, Ecuador. Having lived
and worked in Cotacachi in the area of domestic violence relief and women's
rights, I have seen firsthand the need for refuge housing for women victims.
Partnering with La Coordinadora de Mujeres Urbanas, an Ecuadorian women's
organization and El Centro de Atencion a la Mujer de Cotacachi, a domestic
violence relief NGO, we're working to fund their dream of a sustainable
women's shelter.

*This is where you come in*. I'm writing you because I would love to
showcase you or your performance group (or an individual member, if the
interest is there) at our benefit concert, *Four Walls and a Roof Presents:
Rock for a Refuge*, on May 2nd from 7-11pm at McKinley Foundation in
Champaign. All proceeds from the benefit go directly to the project, so you
know that your volunteered time is well spent and will give hope to so many
women and children. If you choose to perform for us, we'd love to promote
your group as much as possible. Let us know what we can do. To commit to
performing on *May 2nd between 7:30-11pm, please e-mail me as soon as
possible to get your name on our program flier. *

**For those of you who recieved an e-mail from me earlier concerning a
similiar event, our dates have changed, so please if you said you couldn't
perform for us before, note our new date and time and reply letting us know
if you're interested.**

In addition, we're also hosting a *Silent Art Auction* during the show so
anyone interested in donating artwork is encouraged to e-mail me. Thank you
