[Peace] Dec. 1, 5pm: Demonstrate against war in Afghanistan/Pakistan: Green & Wright, UofI campus

Pres. Obama will announce later today, Tuesday 12/1,
his plans for Afghanistan: tens of thousands of additional troops.

These should not be our plans. Our occupation of Afghanistan should not be
increased, but must end. The US and NATO should have no inflammatory military
presence in Afghanistan nor Pakistan!

A majority of the American people oppose this wasteful, destructive, immoral war.
Let's hold a demonstration to help demonstrate that, on the day of the
announcement. Many other groups across the US will be doing likewise.

Where: Alma Mater, Green and Wright Streets, on UofI campus, Urbana, IL
When: from 5:00pm until 6:00pm, Tuesday, Dec. 1st

We'll have signs to hold, or bring your own, or just come and stand with us
against the escalation and against the wars!
