"AWARE on the Air" is presented each week at 10pm on Urbana Public Television,
cable channel 6, by members and friends of AWARE, the Anti-War Anti-Racism
Effort of Champaign-Urban, a local peace group.

Each week at that time we bring you comments on the criminal war that the United
States government is waging against the people of the Middle East -- in
Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and even in Somalia.

And we discuss the opposition to it, both locally and nationally, by Americans
appalled at our government's betrayal of our democratic principles.

Tonight's program presents competing views -- from Linda Weber and yr. obdt.
servt. -- of the administration's approach to the war. Ron Szoke will in
addition present some well-chosen snippets from the week's news.

And there will be a summary of upcoming activities against the war and attendant
social ills, as compiled from this week's AWARE meeting by Randall Cotton.

AWARE meets every Sunday evening at 5pm in the Wahlfeldt Room, in the basement
of the old post office in Urbana. Visitors and prospective members are welcome.

And the summary of that meeting will be on cable tonight. Tune in after you
hear The Official Story from The One. --CGE
