Make the UIAA Alumni Career Center  a cornerstone of your job search and career planning help in 2009 and beyond.  Our online, real-time, and individualized services and programs can help you clarify goals, sharpen job search tactics, and add to your confidence as you develop and carry out your professional objectives.    
  
Programs in 2009 begin with “Ways To Remain Valuable During A Recession”, a free webinar on the evening of Wednesday, January 14, that will discuss employability factors and positioning yourself for success in this tight economy. 
  
Alumni Career Center webinars and tele-workshops are scheduled throughout the year.  We use webinar and conference call technology so you can attend programs from wherever you are.  Click the link at the end of this invitation to view the full list of programs from January through March, including: 
·       Creating A High Impact Resume 
·       Separating Fact from Fiction: Alumni Tell Their Job Search Stories, a free tele-panel 
·       Behavior Based vs. Situational Interview Questions 
·       Setting the Next Goal in Your Career Path. 
  
Use the ACC’s Virtual Career Center for 24/7 access to career information, worksheets and exploration exercises, links to additional websites and book referrals.  The Virtual Career Center is available to all UIAA Sustaining and Life members.  The Alumni Career Center also features: 
·       Hire UI Alumni, an online job posting and resume posting site 
·       The UIAA Online Alumni Directory, to identify contacts for informational interviews, from a list of over 40,000 alumni volunteers 
·       Service packages that include that include individual advising, access to a national company research database and attendance at alumni Career Center programs without an additional fee.
