[Peace] [CIMIC-Announce] Fundraiser dinner for internally displaced people of the crisis in Pakistan

Dear Subscribers to the CIMIC Special Events subscriber list,

Greetings. Wanted to let everybody know about the fundraising dinner being held 
this coming Sunday to benefit the internally displaced people of Swat valley in 
Northwest Pakistan. This is the single largest internal displacement of people 
in any country since the Rwandan genocide crisis in 1994.

Details of the fundraising follow underneath.

Situation Facts
* Over 2.5 million displaced
* 80% of displaced are women and children
* 90% of IDPs have no food, water and spare clothes
* 60-70% of the children are traumatized -- Islamic Relief
