hey gang, so i'm just emailing the few people i know who are still in urbana to let yas know that caterpillar is coming to uiuc to recruit for employment on monday february 15. here is the blurb i saw about it:

Please note: Caterpillar Campus Visit, Monday, February 15, 4-6pm, Illini Union, Room 407, Dinner will be served

Are you from mainland China?  Are you interested in working for Caterpillar back in your home country?  If so, attend the information session below to learn more about this global company with more than 100,000 employees worldwide!

Chinese representatives from Caterpillar and Caterpillar executives based in China will be on campus to offer information about employment opportunities in several fields, so students with any majors are welcome to attend this session.

anyone interested in doing a little mini-protest? we could just have some signs, make our presence known, nothin' too crazy... or whatever yas think! i think it would be a good thing to do though, without too much effort we can keep palestine in people's minds and make caterpillar look bad. 

if anyone is interested let me know. it doesn't have to be a huge thing, a nice handful of us will do the job. and who knows, we could even have fun doing it!! 

ps brian- i already have found a place to print up a few poster size signs and fliers and stuff, so there should be a handful of those for whoever shows up on monday. ok well lemme know about those groups/contacts you have that might be interested!
