Some upcoming events mentioned at yesterday's AWARE meeting...
   6/7 Monday, Champaign Human Relations Commission
   6/8 Tuesday, vigil for the BP oil spill
   6/10-13 Thu-Sun, "AquaTown" performance
   Sun 6/27, know your rights -- two films on dealing with police


  Mon 6/7   5:30pm   Champaign City building
    Champaign Human Relations Commission will meet.  Open to the public.
    Might include discussion of the police complaint process.


  Tue 6/8   6:00pm   parking lot outside Independent Media Center
		    (Broadway & Elm, downtown Urbana)
    Vigil for the BP oil spill.

    "AquaTown - A Future Hydrohistory" -- a play directed by Andrea del Moral
    $12 adults, $6 youth under 19.  FREE on Thursday 6/10.

	A Future Hydrohistory is a new theatre piece that weaves
	together lesser known pasts and dreams of possible futures -
	from the dystopian to the idyllic.  The ensemble is currently
	researching the land- and cityscape of Urbana and its watershed,
	extending to the Mississippi River.


   Sun 6/27  2pm  Champaign Public Library
	Two good short films on interacting with police:
	"Busted" and "10 Rules for Dealing with Police"
	What are your rights?  What must, should, and
	shouldn't you do when stopped by police,
	and what are special phrases to remember to
	ensure that your legal rights are retained?
	Put on by AWARE Films.
