Tuesday, May 4th, 1:00pm-2:00pm, Urbana City Council Chambers, 400 S. Vine, Urbana
  "AWARE on the Air," weekly UPTV channel 6 cable program, is recorded
  every Tuesday at 1pm and broadcast at 10pm that night.  Sessions also
  available later on http://archive.org/ -- search for "AWARE on the Air".

  Carl Estabrook <cge at shout.net> generally presides & always welcomes company.
  Come and talk about anything of interest to AWARE, or just come by,
  for part or all of the hour's session.

Wed. May 5th, 8pm (doors open 7:30), Foellinger Auditorium
   "iRock for Haiti" benefit concert
Illinois for Haiti, a collaborative, unified effort among students
at the UofI Urbana-Champaign to raise money for emergency relief and
rebuilding in Haiti, a country hit with a devastating earthquake in
January, 2010. All proceeds go to World Vision and the University of 
Illinois School of Architecture Haitian School Project.
Tickets $8 in advance, $10 at the door (sold on the quad 5/3-5/5)

YMCA Dump and Run seeks volunteers, on many dates from May 10th through 28th

    The University YMCA will soon begin collecting/sorting/packing
    items for this year’s Dump & Run! However, we need volunteers!!!

    to volunteer during any of the times listed below, or sign up online at:

    Monday – Friday, May 24-28, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.*
    *Late collections: Thursdays, May 13, 20, & 27 until 7 p.m.
