Hello Everyone -- please forward widely!Y're invited to join AWARE Films for a showing of No One Knows About Persian Cats at 2p on Sunday, May 23rd at the Champaign Public Library. This Iranian comedy tells the story of two rock musicians, just released from prison, who secretly plan to form a band and to travel to Europe to perform, because their music would not be welcome in Iran. Although the film is unlikely to be shown in Iran, it has been delighting audiences elsewhere since its 2009 release. More info below.FREE, open to the public.
