Candidate Forums
1) One going on right now (October 24) at the Urbana Civic Center
(started at 1:30pm):

The forum on October 24th will include Mark Sheldon, who will talk for
a few minutes on voter fraud and volunteer opportunities, and John
Bambeneck who will talk about the Recall Amendment on the ballot.
Here is a list of the candidates who have committed to attending the
forum on the 24th:  Tim Johnson's representative Phil Bloomer (R),
David Gill (D), Norman Davis (R), Chad Hays (R), Michael Puhr (D),
Shane Cultra (R), Vince LaMie (D), and Chapin Rose (R).

2) October 27, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
Urbana Council Chambers
400 S. Vine St. Urbana

Open to the General Public

3) Next Sunday October 31, at 1:30PM in the Urbana Civic Center,
the local Tea Party is having their second candidates' forums:

a forum for Champaign County Board candidates.  There will be a
discussion period following the question and answer segment.  Also, we
have invited other candidates who will be on the ballot for Champaign
County.  You may visit with these candidates individually.

The forum on the 31st will include Stephanie Holderfield (R), Eric
Thorsland (D), Mary Jo Reik (R), Patricia Petrie (D), Bill Glithero
(R), Jim Phillips (R), Thomas Betz (D), Ralph Langenheim (D), Robert
Brunner (R), James Quisenberry (D), and Christopher Alix (D).
Participating in the discussion period following the forum will be
Mark Shelden (R), Dan Walsh (R), Jerommie Smith (I), and Dan Welch
(R).

All the candidates will be asked three questions.
