The U-C branch of the International Socialist Organization (ISO)
will discuss the riots ongoing in the UK:

   "Yes, we know violence on the streets in London is bad. Yes, we know that
    looting shops is wrong. But why is it happening now? Because grievances build
    up over time, because when the system wills the death of a young black citizen
    from a deprived community, it simultaneously, if subconsciously, wills the
    response."

David Cobb's 8pm talk tonight at the IMC, on corporate rule and democracy,
is two hours earlier, so it may be possible to attend both if you're interested.
