Champaign Police Chief Candidates Forum facilitated by various groups
like League of Women Voters, NAACP, ACLU, and CCAPP.
"Conversation With the Candidates"
Thursday, December 8, 7pm
In the Champaign City Council Chambers / 102 N. Neil Street, Champaign Illinois
The meeting will also be broadcast on CGTV channel 5.

In advance of the meeting, the host agencies are inviting members of
the public to suggest topics or questions to be posed to the
candidates. Citizens can send their suggestions via email to the LWVCC
at lwv.il.cc at gmail.com or to the ACLU at info at aclu-cu.org.

"The purpose of the meeting is for citizens to have an opportunity to
become familiar with each of the final candidates being considered by
the City Manager for the position. This meeting is being hosted by the
local chapters of the League of Women Voters of Champaign County
(LWVCC), the National Association for the Advancement of Colored
People (NAACP), and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), as well
as the City of Champaign Human Relations Commission and the Champaign
Community and Police Partnership (CCAPP)."
