      * ensure Manning's humane treatment, and
      * investigate war crimes

    has been charged with "obtaining classified material for the purpose

	CCAPP forum: A community forum to discuss pervasive issues straining
the relationship	between the city of Champaign's police force and
citizens.
	CCAPP = Champaign Community and Police Partnership
	Organizers hope to continue the forum on a quarterly basis.
	The meeting is open to the public. Their meetings haven't generally
been public in the 	past.

	CCAPP is a group intended to provide a forum for reducing tension
   	between Champaign police and the (especially African-American) community.
   	Its members are City officials and (City-approved) community leaders.
   	(When asked during last week's debate, Mayor Schweighart didn't recognize
   	CCAPP's name.  Don Gerard did.)

   Candidates for Champaign Unit 4 School Board will speak
   at a PTA-sponsored forum in the Board Room of the Mellon Administrative Bldg,

   (The election will be the following Tuesday.)  Candidates: Jamar Brown,
   Kristine Chalifoux, Sue Grey, Greg Novak and Lynn Stuckey.

The registration cost is $80 for all 4 days. That might sound like a
lot, but you can easily go to 5 or 6 talks every day! If you can only
make it for one day it's only $35.

FREE CHILDCARE is provided!

In the past we have crammed as many people as possible into hotel
rooms so it's more affordable for everyone.
