[Peace] Writ n' Rhymed Poetry Open Mic at IMC tonight

Writ n' Rhymed is a weekly poetry-open mic night hosted by the Women's
Resource Center on campus, which has been dislocated because of last week's
fire on Green Street.
The IMC will be hosting this week's event as part of the Public i's "Poetry
for the People" project.

Come out for a night of poetry starting at 8:30 pm! BD


8:30pm, *Writ n' Rhymed Poetry Open Mic *
"Disillusionment and Nostalgia in the 1950s" feat. host, Josette Lorig
NEW LOCATION: Independent Media Center (IMC), Urbana (202 S. Broadway,
Urbana, IL 61801)
Free yummy snacks and coffee for all attendees!


*Directions Walking/Biking from the Illini Union*
Walk East on Green St. towards Urbana all the way until Green St. dead ends
near Lincoln Square Mall. Curve around ot the north of Lincoln Square Mall
and behind it you'll find the Independent Media Center, or IMC. It's in the
old Post
Office Building and has large letters down the side that read "IMC".
Come on in! Come up th steps and the doors will be open.
