*Friends, at yesterday's Outreach Committee we asked, commented, and
answered some questions regarding the Truck Stop happening this weekend,
Jan. 27-29. *

Friday January 27
3pm Opening Workshop: Thoughts and Ideas about the Occupy Movement (Jude
Lombardi, Occupy Baltimore)*
*>>> an opportunity to **examine and generate: distinctions, statements,
questions, desired consequences, responses, collaborations with SDaS
teachers and guests.**
6pm Potluck & Occupy CU General Assembly–Newcomers’ Edition*
*>>> this is this week's version of our regular GA**
8:30pm The People Speak: A Live Performance

Saturday January 28
9am Occupy Yoga at Urbana Free Library Auditorium (bring a mat if you have
one! and wear comfortable clothes)
10am Breakout discussion/design groups*
*>>> small group activities focusing on desired consequences and our
actions toward those consequences**

*12pm Lunch*
*>>> we have the option of going together to lunch and continue our focused
discussions**

*1pm Protesting the Forms of Protest (Susan Parenti)
1:45pm Alternatives to Hierarchy (Rich Potter)

*3pm Caring for the Social Environment (Brook Celeste)*
*>>> at several GA's some of us pointed out at not being ready for our
goals and tasks; this workshop will reflect on our readiness moving forward*

Jones)

*>>> same as lunch, we can remain together to continue our ideas and

Morgan Orion, Chris Hampson, ODDMUSIC, Mark Enslin, Cosmic Charlie and

10am Brunch

the group)*
