Some more ideas - sorry for omitting these -
* Young people marching, presenting their *own* thoughts on peace -
and war - in signs or banners or whatever - Sandra's suggestion.
(I think this would be a really valuable thing to do - and difficult
- both for the same reason. What young people could we find who
might take part? And, the fact that we are currently mostly a bunch
of gray haired fuddy-duddies (sorry all) is an indictment of our
recruitment of the next generation.)
One piece of good news - Jenifer C's grandson is around, and may
have something to say about war and peace...
* The inheritance of the wars we make today is a burden on tomorrow's
unborn children.
* When we in the US make war on distant countries, the terrible
effects on their people - especially their youth - are easy for us
to ignore.
