Beehive Collective will be in town for another visit (their narrative
posters and art are amazing)
Fri, October 19, 7pm – 8pm
UC-IMC / 202 S Broadway
Their epic graphic-in-process is: Mesoamerica Resiste! In many
languages but with one voice, this poster celebrates the courage,
creativity, and ferociousness of people's movements from across the
globe in defending the land, lives, and livelihoods of everyday
people.

Narrative Posters use complex drawings to explain global issues...
visually! Using symbolic illustrations of animals, The Beehive
Collective has created a way for us to share the stories of the "war
on drugs" and Plan Colombia, corporate colonization and the Free Trade
Area of the Americas, and mountain top removal mining and the True
Cost of Coal . These posters exist so that anyone can understand the
things that are happening in our world- no matter what their
background or knowledge base is!
