the book-reading-signing of Los Angeles author Bernard Radfar, who  
used to live and write in Champaign Urbana in the 1980's!

character, Mark Black, a filthy rich eccentric with some highly  
unusual needs, he had no idea that "Mark's" letters requesting bizarre  
services would actually bring him responses!
