[Peace] let's bring up militarization and reignite the jail debate / County Board 6:30 tonight (Thursday, August 21, 2014)

Hi peace (and justice) folks,

A number of people are going to the Champaign County Board meeting
tonight (6:30pm Thursday, August 21, 2014) to reignite the jail
debate.
* Several members of the jail committee are going to speak during
public comment.
* A few others are also going to address police militarization in the
wake of Ferguson, MO.
* Budget discussions are coming up. These issues are budget related.

Come out for a showing of solidarity if you can.
