[Peace] Consciousness Raising for the Earth: TODAY

Hello friends—We invite you to attend a presentation by feminist ecologist George Hardebeck: Seeking the Sacred Harmony—Realigning with Life on Her Own Terms. The presentation takes place at the Herbert Brün House, 122 Franklin Street in Urbana. Admission is free. The presentation will be 7-9pm.

> George’s presentation will be both informative and experiential, reflecting the urgency and imperative for turning our mass extinction to mass abundance while reducing our planet’s fever. 
> 
> After beginning his art career in advertising, George Hardebeck saw how such intentional arts were used to form consumer culture. This awareness led him to work as a naturalist in Cincinnati Park Board for a dozen years, as a gardener focused for ecological benefits, and as an illustrator, and illustrator's representative. 
> 
> George has promoted community-based ecological restoration in Cincinnati, under the umbrella of The (Ohio) Society for Ecological Restoration through collaborative events and projects. As ARCHE - Arts Restoring Culture for Healing Earth- in the recent decade Hardebeck has taken on restoring regional native identity, promoting ecocultural arts, developing transdisciplinery conversations for reconciliation with First Peoples, Culture and Life, ecologically - all Native; and has taught such reharmonizing and restorative perspective in Permaculture coursework.
